Talent Spotlight
Little Lip Productions is springing forward
with its latest Talent Spotlight, Bret
Culpepper. A seasoned character actor with
twenty years experience on the stage, screen
and television, Bret is comfortable doing
period and contemporary projects, and fits
well in the character skins of
the mysterious Hitman, quirky Detective,
stoic Rancher, and the put-upon Best Friend,
not to mention the doting Husband and
Father. Just recently, he completed lead and
supporting work in three Indy films,
Gun Play (a contemporary Western), Four
Queens & A Joker (comedy), and The
Range (horror).
Bret performed for six years with a
Shakespearean Acting Troup in the Los
Angeles area, where he learned the basics of
his craft as well as stage combat. In
addition, he has studied with some of the
contemporary greats, including Kate
McGregor-Stewart, Richard Lane, June
Chandler, Nancy Wolfson, the Film Actor's
Studio, and A.I.A. Studio (Actors in
Action).
As a member of the Screen Actors Guild,
American Federation of Television & Radio
Artists, Actors Equity Association, and the
National League of S.A.G. Stunt Performers,
Bret's repertoire of skills is remarkable.
He is trained in firearms, has military
expertise, is a First Aid Instructor, and is
in the process of getting certified as an
E.M.T. He is also a working wrangler and
stunt gaffer. All in all, Bret Culpepper is
about as experienced as one can get. The
consummate professional, Bret was an easy
choice for the Spring Edition of the Little
Lip Productions Talent Spotlight.
Bret can be reached via his agent,
